Hey There! Welcome to Aquamarine Daydream – a blog about all things beachy, wellness, lifestyle, fashion, some food and how I’m dealing with my anxiety & panic disorder all while starting a journey towards recovery in the middle of a career change and trying to figure out this thing called life. There is something about the feeling of the sand between your toes, feeling the waters current against your skin, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the rustling of the washed-up shells as the waves crash into them, and the smell of the salty air that keeps me coming back for more and makes me feel connected to earth, my soul and gives me mental clarity.
The ocean is a huge part of my life and it influences me in so many ways. From it being a form of therapy and a creative place to it influencing my style and my thought process. I am huge on ocean conservation, and protecting our oceans, sharks and coral reefs. I’m always seeking ways to bring awareness to protecting them and finding companies that give back to ocean conservation and sustainability.
If I’m not at the beach, I’m daydreaming about it.
I’m a twenty-something living in Florida and have never lived more than 15 minutes from the beach. I grew up at the beach and grew up with an undeniable love for the ocean and beach. I spent my summers when I was younger in the Florida Keys diving and spending any moment and day I could at the beach. Anything that involves being near the beach on the water is my favorite thing to do, especially paddle boarding and snorkeling.
I have a hippie soul. I always try to find the “light at the end of the tunnel”. I take “negative” experiences and find the positives and grow from them. I love to travel and experience other cultures, I have been lucky enough totravel to China,France, Italy, Greece and Panama and I hopefully more traveling soon. I’m back in school finishing out my psychology degree, then to get my masters to ultimately to be a therapist to work with those who have an addiction, eating disorder, or suffer from other mental illness and also work with at risk children.
I love being creative from photography to sketching and designing to cooking. I have such a love for cooking, I received my degree in culinary. I have a passion for fashion and have done fashion programs at art schools to learn the entire process that goes into developing a line and creating it into a tangible piece. By doing these courses I developed even more of a love for fashion and designers. I used to want to be the next Chanel or Vera Wang, and I still deep down do. I have sketchbooks upon sketchbooks of fashion designs I’ve come up with and collections, one day I hope to make them into wearable pieces to sell and wear.
My travel, love for art, the beach, and love for the oceans have greatly impacted my life and is reflected in every aspect of my life.

– and of course being with my family, boyfriend and mini-aussie
