Hey, 2018!

We said goodbye to 2017 and welcomed in 2018.

I’m not one to say the whole ” New year, New Me”, I’ve always seen it as a new day, a clean slate, another 365 days to better myself.

2017, was one hell of year and I was happy to see it go. 2017 was full of change, struggles and successes. I decided to quit my job, move out of Ft. Lauderdale and back to where I grew up, have a career change and go back to school, all while dealing with my anxiety going haywire and admitting my eating disorder. Needless to say 2017 was a whirlwind. But it was full of lessons and growth.

 

I’m going into 2018 with a positive outlook and to be a year full of positivity and adventure. My goals for 2018 are to focus on my mental health and physical health. Get to a better place and into full recovery with my bulimia. To focus on self love and bettering my relationship with myself.  Along with just going on more adventures, doing things that I love more, and focusing always on finding the positives.

I hope you all had a very Happy New Year and I wish you all a year full of good health, happiness and positivity.

I found this gem on Pinterest and I couldn’t agree more, especially with believing  the ocean cures all bad moods and believing in the waves wiping away worries.
